Northwoods League to launch summer collegiate softball league

The Northwoods League, a baseball league home to the Duluth Huskies, announced Tuesday they’re launching a new softball league in 2024.

It will be a summer league for female college athletes in their off-season.

The 40-game schedule will run from June through early August.

Initially, the new league will be comprised of teams from across the Northwoods League’s exisiting footprint.
