Northwoods/Solon Springs baseball gearing up for first ever state tournament game
Northwood/Solon Springs is just one day away from one of their biggest games in program history, as they play their first ever state tournament game.
Head coach of the Green Eagles, Nate Ahlberg, shared that his team is ready to take care of business.
“We’ve been doing a lot of scouting of the teams we’re playing, we’ve got some guys that are pitching really well, we’ve got some guys that can hit the ball. So you know, some people are like, it’s great that we’re getting there, but we don’t feel that way. We’re the opposite. We have the intent of winning baseball games. It’s not just like, if you do this it will all be okay, we want to go and we want to win.”
The Green Eagles are ready to go against Johnson Creek tomorrow, with first pitch at 9 a.m.
