NSIC conference honors two former UMD Women’s basketball players

The Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference inducted Lindsey Dietz into the Hall of Fame on Tuesday.
Dietz ranks third on the University of Minnesota Duluth all-time scoring chart with 2,114 points in 104 games (20.3 ppg) and still owns seven school records. Along with her record, she also picked up numerous awards as she was voted the NSIC freshman of the year in 2002-03. The player of the year in 2003-04 and was the NSIC tournament’s most valuable player in 2003.
The conference also recognized Brooke Olson, the DII Honda Female Athlete of the Year. Olson became just the third-ever DII Honda Athlete of the Year from the NSIC.
