Polar League holds Track and Field meet at UWS
The Polar League saw its best track and field athletes head to Superior Friday afternoon for day one of the conference’s meet.
In the boys 60 meters, Layne Radzak of Moose Lake/Willow River took home first place after a blazing finish of 7.43, setting a new PR for him.
In the girls 1600 meter, Isabel Riley of Carlton/Wrenshall crossed the finish line first, with a time of 5:54.27.
In the boys 1600, Moose Lake/Willow River’s Elliott Wasche just edged out Carlton/Wrenshall’s David Tuttle, as Wasche ran a 5:02.15 to Tuttle’s 5:05.03.
