Superior High School hosted its second day of the Superior Candy Cane Crossover, as Duluth Denfeld took down Cambridge-Isanti 83-69 and Cherry improves to 11-0 after beating Superior, 78-68.
Denfeld was in control of the majority of the game after falling to Cherry on Friday. Their offense was good, but their defense was better, holding Cambridge-Isanti under the 70 point mark.
The Hunters turn to take on Grand Rapids on January 3rd.
For Cherry, they were led by their typical stars, with Isaiah Asuma registering a 28 point, 10 rebound double double, and Noah Sundquist, who scored 26 points of his own.
Cherry takes their 11-0 record into the new year, and will next face Nevis on January 4th. Superior will try to bounce back when they take on Eau Claire Memorial on January 7th.
