In prep basketball on Monday night, Grand Rapids and Duluth East played a thriller, with Grand Rapids coming out on top 60-56, while Rock Ridge traveled to Duluth Denfeld and ran away 65-22.

For Grand Rapids, the entire game was a back and forth affair, coming down to the final few possessions of the game to decide the winner.

The Thunderhawks are back in action on Friday against Proctor while Duluth East will try to rebound against Bemidji on Thursday.

Over at Duluth Denfeld, 14-2 Rock Ridge showed no weaknesses against 2-14 Duluth Denfeld, as they overpowered the Hunters in every aspect of the game.

Rock Ridge kicked the game off with a 21-0 lead before the Hunters scores their first points.

Rock Ridge faces Chisago Lakes on Friday while Denfeld takes on Littlefork-Big Falls.
