On Tuesday night, the Superior boy’s basketball team showed their strength against Duluth Marshall, beating the Hilltoppers 87-58, while the Rock Ridge girls handled Duluth East, 75-42.

The Spartans started the game on a 9-0 run, setting the tone for the game as a whole. The Spartans were tenacious on defense and efficient on offense, leading to the win.

Superior will face while Proctor on Saturday while Duluth Marshall faces Duluth Denfeld on Thursday.

Over at Duluth East, the Rock Ridge girl’s improved to 11-1, behind yet another impressive offensive performance.

The win snapped Duluth East’s two game winning streak.

Duluth East faces Saint Francis on Thursday, while Rock Ridge hosts Crookston.
