On Monday both the Esko and Duluth Marshall boys basketball teams earned round one victories in the Section 7AA tournament.

Top-seeded Esko defeated 16th seeded International Falls 96-43. Esko senior Koi Perich would tally his 2,000th career point in the win. The Broncos finish their season 3-22.

Eighth seeded Duluth Marshall defeated ninth seeded Two Harbors 83-76. The Agates finish their season 15-12.

The Hilltoppers (15-12) advance to face Esko (18-8) in the Section 7AA quarterfinals Saturday at 12:30 p.m. at Hermantown High School. For the full Section 7AA bracket, Click Here.
