Private memorial takes place Saturday for former Vikings head coach Bud Grant

The family and friends of the late Bud Grant held a private memorial service on Saturday for the former Minnesota Vikings coach.

Grant passed away on March 11th at the age of 95.

Grant led the Vikings to four Super Bowl appearances, including a total of 11 division championships during his time behind the bench from 1967-1983.

A public celebration of Grant’s life at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis is in the works, but a date hasn’t been set.
