Minnesota prep football kicks off in less than seven days, and teams are deep into their prep. Proctor opens their season in a big way with the hammer game against rivals Hermantown.
Last season, the Rails graduated eight seniors, but they’re looking forward to a new season with the growing bond of this squad.
“Each and every day gets one percent better. The guys understand the responsibility of doing their job, not try to do too much, and don’t make the moment bigger than it is. Just be where our feet are and compete every day, and on Friday night, let’s make everything better, ” said head coach Matt Krivinchuk
Senior wide receiver and safety Gavin Tabbert added that he and his teammates just have to do things one at a time and not sweat the small things.
“We’re going one practice at a time, every play at a time. You miss up on a play or make a mistake. Forget about it; the next play is a new play.”
The Hammer game against the Hermantown Hawks is set for Friday, September 1st, in Proctor. Kick-off is set for 6 p.m.
