Proctor/Hermantown girl's hockey falls in season opener against Warroad

Proctor/Hermantown Mirage girl’s hockey hosted a state quarterfinal rematch against defending state champions Warroad on Friday evening – marking the beginning of the prep hockey season for the Mirage.

Warroad takes the lead in the end of the first period with a goal from Emmie Harwick and capitalize in the second period with two goals by Jaylie French. The Mirage would seal their first goal of the season courtesy of Mya Gunderson. Jaylie French would return with a hat trick to extend Warroad’s lead.

Warroad would defend their title with a 7-1 win over Proctor/Hermantown.

Proctor/Hermantown Mirage will return to the ice on Saturday November 9th at 12PM at the Hermantown Hockey Arena.
