On Tuesday night, the Proctor/Hermantown Mirage got back to their winning ways, beating Moose Lake Area 4-0 after three first period goals.

The Mirage were on the board quickly, thanks to Jane Eckstrom scoring just over four minutes into the contest. Rylee Kalkbrenner followed up Eckstrom’s goal at the 10 minute mark to extend the lead to 2-0. Eckstrom then scores just six seconds after to round out a three goal period.

The game would remain at 3-0 until Ella Kaups scored in the third period to extend the lead.

The Mirage look to make it two straight wins when they take on Prior Lake on Saturday at 2 p.m., while Moose Lake Area takes on Fort Frances (Ontario) on Saturday at 1 p.m.
