Proctor/Hermantown's Jane Eckstrom receives Class A Herb Brooks Award
The Proctor/Hermantown Mirage’s Jane Eckstrom was named the recipient of the 2025 Class A Herb Brooks Award.
The annual award is presented to a state tournament participant that strongly represents the values, characteristics and traits that defined Herb Brooks, a St. Paul native who gained international fame as a hockey coach.
Eckstrom led the Mirage on the ice with 33 points, 20 of those points goals and 13 assists. Eckstrom plans to play collegiately at Hamline University.
