Rock Ridge girl’s, Cloquet boy’s golf teams heading to state

The Rock Ridge girls’ golf team is headed to state, after being crowned section 7AA champions.

Punched their ticket last Thursday in just the third season that both Virginia and Eveleth-Gilbert have been combined.

The Cloquet boy’s golf team was also named section 7AA champions.

Along with Karson Young placing first for the boys in the final meet.

Rock Ridge now will now head to Jordan, Minnesota for the state tournament next week, while Cloquet heads to Ridges at Sand Creek.
