Prep Baseball: South Ridge swings to 10th straight win, Grand Rapids tops Duluth Marshall

Tuesday the South Ridge baseball team earned their 10th straight win topping Cloquet 6-3 on the road at Mettner Field.
The Panthers were led by Tony Lisic going three-for-four with four RBI, and pitcher Wyatt Olson throwing six strikeouts and only allowing one hit. That would be a two-run home run from Cloquet’s Ashton Stansfield.
South Ridge improves to 11-2 on the season and is next set to host McGregor Thursday at 4:30 p.m. Cloquet is next scheduled to visit Esko Tuesday, May 23.
Also on Tuesday the Grand Rapids baseball team notched their third straight win topping Duluth Marshall 7-3.
The Thunderhawks scored all seven of their runs in the fourth inning, six with two outs.

Grand Rapids will next visit Proctor Thursday. Duluth Marshall is back in action Wednesday hosting Proctor.
