South Ridge basketball’s Josephson signs with Bemidji State

While the South Ridge boy’s basketball team may have seen their season come to an end Thursday in a close 55-54 section tournament loss to Chisholm, they did have something to celebrate on Monday.

As senior Austin Josephson signed his national letter of intent to play DII basketball for Bemidji State.

“Definitely get in the gym a lot more get up to speed for this, with the pace of play and everything else that comes with the DII level,” said Josephson.

A 6’10 forward, Josephson finished his high school career with over 1,000 points and 1,000 rebounds.

“My hope is that everyone from the school gets to see and think of Austin Josephson and say, I want to get where Austin Josephson did,”concluded head coach Macoy Rudolph.
