South Ridge volleyball, with pink jerseys, ribbons, and hair, defeated Cherry in Monday night volleyball, 3-0.
For the Panthers, Kaija and Svea Snickers, along with Mercedes Lawrence, were catalysts in the match. They had plenty of opportunities on offense, but the Panthers were also unbreakable on defense.
Cherry will try to bounce back against Mesabi East on Tuesday.
