State Softball: Moose Lake/Willow River finishes third in Class A, Proctor claims AA consolation crown

On day two of the Minnesota state high school softball tournament Friday both Moose Lake/Willow River and Proctor would depart the diamonds with some hardware.
In Class A Moose Lake/Willow River downed Upsala 6-0 to earn a third place finish. The Rebels finish the year 22-4.
In Class AA Proctor defeated Pipestone Area 5-3 to claim the consolation championship. Brooklynne Patterson led the Rails with three runs, two hits and one RBI. Proctor closes out 2023 with a 22-5 record.
