On Friday, the Superior baseball team battled back from a 3-0 deficit to defeat Rock Ridge 4-3 in dramatic fashion.

After Rock Ridge put up three runs in the first inning, they would threaten throughout the game, but Superior would shut them down each time.

In the bottom of the sixth, the Superior offense exploded for three runs, with the winning run coming off the bat of Calvin Anderson.

Rock Ridge will try to bounce back against Cloquet on Monday while Superior tries to string together a win streak against Cloquet on Tuesday.
