Superior boy’s hockey dominates Ashland
Superior boy's hockey dominated Ashland to advance in the section tournament.
Superior boy’s hockey handled Ashland on Tuesday night in the opening round of the WIAA Section One Tournament, winning 7-1.
The Spartans were on the ropes almost immediately, as Ashland scored within 30 seconds of the opening puck drop, but Superior would bounce back and score two more before the end of the period.
The Spartans ran away with the game after that, scoring five more in the rest of the contest.
Next up for Superior is Eau Claire Memorial in the second round.
