On Sunday, Superior City FC men’s defeated Austin Villa 4-1 in their home opener.

The game was off to a quick start, as Superior City FC’s Bryce Boldt scored in the opening minutes, but Austin Villa would have an answer for them, evening the score at 1-1.

Before the end of the first half though, Boldt would score again, and Ryan Tomsche would add a goal as well to take a 3-1 lead into the half.

In the second half, Mally Lumdsen found the back of the net to put Austin Villa away for good.

Superior City FC next takes on FC Minneapolis on Thursday.
