Superior City FC men’s soccer team fall to St. Croix in first playoff appearance

The Superior City FC soccer team made history on Sunday playing in their first ever UPSL Midwest-West Semifinals in Stillwater against St. Croix Soccer Club.
Superior City however fell in the game by the final score of 4-1.
After trailing early 1-0 in the opening 15 minutes of play Superior had their first set piece.
The ball was able to find the head of Matti Sysimaki on the back post to level the game in the first half.
St. Croix however rattled off three unanswered goals in the final 45 minutes, as Superior City ends their inaugural season with a record of 7-4-1.
