Superior City FC Women’s season comes to close in UPSL semifinal loss

Superior City FC Women's was able to preserve their 2-0 lead and beat Tonka Fusion 2-1 on Saturday.

Superior City FC Women’s fell to the Minnesota Aurora FC 2 on Friday, 4-1 in the UPSL semifinal.

Aurora FC 2 hadn’t lost a regular season match, so the odds were stacked against Superior City FC, especially when the Aurora opened up to a 2-0 lead.

However, Anna Tobias sent a through ball to Molly Henderson who capitalized, scoring the only goal of the game for Superior.

Superior City FC finishes their season with a 6-3-2 record.
