The Superior City FC Women’s couldn’t pull ahead in their matchup against the Minnesota Twinstars at the NBC Spartan Sports Complex in Superior.

Superior began with the game with a scoring pass to Mya Holmquist who was able to head-butt the ball over the Twinstars goalie, bringing the score to 1-0.

The Twinstars would start their scoring run with a penalty shot, then not long after Agatha Nimene pushes straight through the Superior defense to pound the ball right into the goal.

Superior would not be able to push past the Twinstar defense, falling with a final score of 3-1.
