Superior girl’s hockey fall in State Final

The Superior Spartans girl’s hockey team fell to the Bay Area Ice Bears in the WIAA State Final Saturday 3-0.

A blunder in the game was the Spartans powerplay as they went 0-6 in the game, while giving up a powerplay goal themselves.

The Spartans outshot the Ice Bears in the game 32-23, while also recording eight total blocked shots.

Superior concludes the 2022-23 campaign with an overall record of 21-6.
