On Tuesday the top-seeded Superior girls hockey team rolled past fifth seeded Northland Pines 10-2 in the WIAA Section 1 semifinal in Superior.

The Spartans were coming off a first round bye. They now improve to 21-3-1 on the season.

Defending Sectional champions Superior advances to face second seeded Central Wisconsin in the Sectional Final. Puck drop is set for Friday, February 23 at 7 p.m. in Mosinee. The winner goes to state.

Central Wisconsin defeated Hayward 7-3 in their semifinal to advance. Hayward closes out their season 15-8.
