The Superior girls soccer team was back on home turf on Tuesday, beating Washburn 4-0 for their first win of the season.

In the first half, Superior was on the offensive attack for the majority, and saw two balls reach the back of the net thanks to Autumn Cooper and Brynn Johnson.

In the second, Anna Manion would net two to give Superior the insurance they’d need to fend off Washburn.

Additionally, Maggie Mueller would have a clean sheet, shutting out Washburn.

The Spartans get the chance to put a winning streak together on Thursday against Chippewa Falls.
