On Thursday, Superior girls’ soccer began their season on the pitch against Hudson, who would take down the Spartans 2-1.
Superior would start the scoring off in the first half, with Meara Moen sending the ball off to Amelia Manion who finds the back of the goal to put the Spartans on the board.
Two unanswered goals from Hudson in the second half would put the Spartans on the chase, but they would fall short, trailing 2-1 to end the game.
Superior will return to battle Wausau East on Saturday, April 12th at 2pm. Click here to view their full season schedule.
