Superior softball wins in a big way over Hermantown Hawks in a shutout 8-0

The Superior softball team was in action on Tuesday, taking on the Hawks of Hermantown. Spartans held the Hawks scoreless throughout the game, going on to win in shutout fashion 8-0.
Hermantown’s Jadyn Lind looked to give the Hawks some spark in the last few innings with a grounder, but it was scooped up by Spartans Haley Zembo with the throw to first base to get her out.
The Spartans increased their record to 4-0 so far on the season.
