Superior volleyball wins playoff opener over New Richmond in 5 set thriller

On Thursday the eighth seeded Superior volleyball team served up victory in their playoff opener at home defeating ninth seeded New Richmond 3-2 in round one of the Division 1 regionals.
Superior dropped set one 25-23 and set two 28-26. They rallied to win set three 25-19 and set four 25-20, then took set five 15-13 to keep their season alive.
No. 8 Superior now advances to visit No. 1 Eau Claire Memorial in the regional finals Saturday at 7 p.m.. For the full bracket, Click Here.
