Team Shuster wins U.S. Men’s National Championship

They’ve brought home gold medals, and now one of Duluth’s decorated curling teams has won themselves another international trip.

John Shuster’s team beat team Korey Dropkin in the 2024 men’s championship Sunday in New Jersey finishing with nine wins and only one loss.

Team Shuster, comprised of John Shuster, Chris Plys, Colin Hufman, Matt Hamilton, and John Landsteiner defeated team Dropkin 11-6.

This is Shuster’s 10th title overall, and 7th as a team skip.

Next, they’ll head to Switzerland for the world men’s curling championship march 30th to april 7th.
