Three Huskies selected for Northwoods League All Star Game
The Duluth Huskies have made waves on the all star scene, with three players chosen for the Northwoods league all star game.
MJ Sweeney, Charlie Sutherland and Caden Kratz were the three selected from the Huskies.
Sweeney, a first baseman, has recently left the team, but before that could be considered the best all around player on the team, hitting .312 through 37 games with 10 home runs and 40 RBI.
Sutherland, a second and third baseman, is hitting .317 through 41 games with 26 RBI.
Caden Kratz, a reliever, has been spectacular this season, appearing in 11 games, 15.1 innings worth, and maintaining a 1.17 ERA with 18 strikeouts.
The Northwoods League all star week kicks off with a softball game and then home run derby on July 22nd, followed by the all star game on July 23rd from Mankato.
