Just because the Bulldogs aren’t playing at AMSOIL Arena doesn’t mean some of them haven’t found the ice in other places.

Three UMD women’s hockey players will represent Sweden in the IIHF Women’s World Championship.

Two current Bulldogs, freshman forward Ida Karlsson and senior defenseman Paula Bergstrom will be joining former UMD goalie Emma Soderberg in her third year as Sweden’s goalie.

Soderburg has represented Sweden in the 2022 Olympics, Bergstrom will be competing in the world championships for the first time, and this marks Karlssons first time on the roster.

Puck drop is April 3rd at 10 am.
