Three with Northland ties invited to Wild Development Camp

In one week the Minnesota Wild will host their development camp, and three skaters with Northland ties were invited to participate.

On Tuesday, Hermantown native, and University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) men’s hockey player, Aaron Pionk, Grand Rapids native Jack Peart, and former UMD captain Luke Loheit were named to the Wild’s Development Camp roster.

Iowa Wild coaches and Minnesota Wild development staff memebers will lead on-ice sessions for the team prospects. They will focus on skating, strength and conditioning, leadership, social media and nutrition education.

The camp runs from July 9-July 11, 2024 at TRIA Rink in St. Paul. Sessions are free and open to the public, but fans are told they must register online. Wednesday, July 10 select players will sign autographs at Noon.
