Grand Rapids alumni Justin Kerr and Gavin Hain have been seeing success in their respective pro level hockey teams.

In the NAHL, Kerr helped lead the Lone Star Brahmas to win the Robertson Cup. In the postseason, Kerr slotted six goals, one of which was in the championship game.

In the AHL, Hain has been re-signed to the Iowa Wild with a two-way, one year deal. Hain played for the Iowa Wild this previous season and accumulated six goals and four assists for the team.
