Two Harbors’ Tate Nelson crowned state champion in 100m, long jump

Two Harbors’ Tate Nelson, with a time of 11.00 seconds, was crowned the 100 meter state champion on Friday during day one of the Minnesota state track and field meet at St. Michael Albertville High School.
He wasn’t done there as Nelson was first on the podium in the long jump competition, setting a Two Harbors school record of 22 ft. 5.75 inches.
The Two Harbors boys finished second in Class A as a team, while the Agate girls finished sixth.
