The Proctor Trap Team has qualified for the Minnesota State Clay Target Tournament for the fourth year in a row.

The team took fourth at the 2024 Minnesota Clay Target Championship on June 12th down in Alexandria. Layla Eckstrom was the top female scorer for the team with a 94 out of 100. Thor Forstrom was the top male for the team, with a score of 98 out of 100.

The top 40 teams qualify for the MN State tournament, Proctor qualified in 34th with a score of 472. The team participants include Laine Graves, Henry Napoli, Gabe Bachke, Thor Folstrom and Layla Eckstrom. Team Alternates are Austin Carlson and Kaleb Lind.

Proctor also had five individual state qualifiers, Laine Graves, Henry Napoli, Gabe Bachke, Thor Folstrom and Austin Carlson.

The state tournament will take place Friday June 21 at the Minneapolis Gun Club in Prior Lake. The opening ceremony will begin at 8:30am, the team competition will begin at 9:00am and the individual competition will begin at 1:00pm.

The Ashland- Washburn High School Trap Team took home the Wisconsin State Championship title on June 9th with a total score of 475. Their score earned them the Varsity and Overall championship titles.

The Ashland-Washburn novice team took second place with an overall score of 372.

They also took the top two High Gun Novice Female ranks, with Ali Schmidt taking the top title with a total score of 89, and Reagan Mrnak coming in right behind with a score of 85.

Bella Roman took third in the High Gun Varsity Female Division with a score of 94.
