UMD Athletic Hall of Fame inducts 10 former Bulldogs

On Friday, UMD held their first hall of fame induction ceremony since the pandemic, and many of the class of 10 Bulldog greats were in attendance.
Per UMD’s press release, “The 10-member class features former hockey All-Americans Jack Connolly and Caroline Ouellette, track & field and cross country All-American Morgan (Place) Kowalik, football All-American Russ Rabe, women’s basketball Conference Player of the Year Sara (Belanger) Pepin, two-time all-region volleyball standout Joleyn (Young) Hansen, all-region soccer player Nicole Fietz, three-time All-NSIC baseball player Jeff Kaldor, and MIAC-era standouts in the late men’s basketball player Mike Josephson and men’s track & field’s Dale Kusnierek.”
UMD’s Athletic Hall of Fame now includes 150 athletes representing 21 sports.
The event was held in the Weber Music Hall.
