UMD baseball hits walk-off homer in doubleheader split with Crookston

The University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) baseball team split their final home series of the regular season with the University of Minnesota Crookston Tuesday at Wade Stadium.
The Bulldogs stole game one 10-8 in the 10th off a walk-off two run homer by Jack Puder. However UMD would then drop game two 6-4.
Puder finished the day with five RBI, three runs and four hits, while Tim Pokornowski put up five runs, five hits, and one RBI across two games.
UMD now sits 18-26 overall and 11-20 in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) play. They now have a three-game regular season finale series at the University of Mary featuring a doubleheader Friday and a single match Saturday. The NSIC playoffs begin May 10.
