UMD baseball sneaks past Bemidji State in a close one
The University of Minnesota Duluth baseball hit the road for a doubleheader against the Beavers of Bemidji State.
The game tied in the sixth, 3-3 until Thomas Hanson got a base hit that allowed two runners to score changing the game to 5-3, Bulldogs on top.
In the seventh, Alex Watterman with the pitch to Zach Listeeack and bombs one deep to leftfield, off the wall, bringing two runs in to tie the game at five.
Bulldogs trying to avoid extra, and Wattermann takes care of that as he bats one deep to left field, getting a walk-off two-run home run over the wall to help the Bulldogs escape game one, winning 7-5.
The Bulldogs also went on to win the second game as well, 11-1.
