A homecoming game at Malosky Stadium served as extra motivation for the Minnesota Duluth football team, who steamrolled Winona State on Saturday, 38-14.
The Bulldogs start 5-0 for the first time since 2018, a season where they were undefeated in the regular season.
As a team, the Bulldogs rushed for 198 yards and passed for 222. The Bulldogs defense struggled against the pass, allowing 298 yards, but clogged the running lane, holding Winona State to -28 rushing yards.
Kyle Walljasper continued his magical season, as he posted 295 all purpose yards and three touchdowns.
Also on the offense, Sam Pitz had an incredible game, as all three of his catches were touchdowns.
UMD travels to Wayne State next weekend to continue their quest for an undefeated season.
