Students entering or currently in highschool were invited to the University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) football skills camp this afternoon. Were players worked with Bulldog staff on various speed, agility and athleticism evaluations along with competitive one-on-one drill work.
“A lot of these kids we’ve been in contact with for months so I love having a chance to work with these guys. To see them move around, having a chance to coach these kids, know them a little bit better it helps our recruiting process. We’re hoping these kids can take something away from today to their high school seasons and continue to improve,” said UMD head coach Curt Wiese.
The three and a half hour day was rounded out with position drill work and individual competitions.
