The University of Minnesota Duluth football team continues their quest for an undefeated season, looking to go 4-0 for the first time since 2019.
The Bulldogs have been stellar on the ground this season, with almost 900 rushing yards.
The Bulldogs routinely swap out running backs each play to keep legs fresh. Graduate student and running back Chamere Thomas attributes the teams depth to their effective run attack.
We all have different skills on the football,” said Thomas”. “So, we have a speed back, power back, there’s a wide receiver running back. So it’s good to have a running back room like that so we can all get into the game at any point in time and change the game over for the defense.”
Along with the impressive play of the running backs, Bulldog quarterback Kyle Walljasper has helped with the rushing total, with almost 400 rushing yards of his own.
UMD is back in action visiting Southwest Minnesota State at 1:00 p.m.
