UMD football superstar to coach Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl

Tyler Yelk.
Every fan of football grows up of playing in the Super Bowl, but a former UMD standout will now do his part to coach in it.
Tyler Yelk, the only UMD football player to win an NCAA National Championship as a player and a coach, will make his first Super Bowl appearance as the head coach of quality control for the Philadelphia Eagles.
Yelk is in his second season with the Eagles coaching staff. At UMD, Yelk was an All-American defensive back for three different organizations as a senior and concluded his UMD playing career as the Bulldogs’ career leader in tackles with 323.
