UMD men’s basketball falls at home in a close one against Northern State

University of Minnesota Duluth welcomed Northern state Wolves to Romano gym on Saturday for a New Year’s Eve afternoon tip-off.
The Bulldogs were on a five game winning streak and looked to keep things going strong. The Bulldogs fought here but couldn’t hold off the Wolves, losing 75-73, ending their winning streak.
Wolves Josh Dilling opened the game up with the 180 spin off the defender for the first two points.
Bulldog’s Joshua Brown (20), Drew Blair (17), and Austin Andrews (11) led the way in scoring for the team. With Charlie Katone leading the way in rebounds with 12.
UMD will look to rebound for Saturday’s loss on Sunday when they face off against Minnesota State University Moorhead. Tip-off is at 3 pm at Romano Gymnasium.
