Under a month away from the starts of their season, both the UMD Men’s and Women’s basketball teams are anticipated to be top performers.
In the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference preseason polls released Thursday, the Bulldog men were picked to finish first.
Despite winning their third consecutive NSIC tournament title, the UMD women are picked to finish second behind MSU-Mankato.
Senior guard and forward Ella Gilbertson is UMD Women’s NSIC player to watch, while graduate guard Drew Blair is the men’s.
