UMD men’s hockey alum Karson Kuhlman finds a NHL home
Former University of Minnesota Duluth men’s hockey forward Karson Kuhlman signed a one-year, two-way contract with the New York Islanders.
The Esko native has played in 147 NHL games with the Boston Bruins, Seattle Kraken, and the Winnipeg Jets, scoring 12 goals and 18 assists for 30 points.
Kuhlman played four years at UMD, scoring 80 points in 146 games playing in every game for the Bulldogs from the 2014-2018 season.
