UMD men’s hockey dominated by #10 North Dakota
UMD men's hockey dominated by #10 North Dakota
UMD men’s hockey was outmatched badly on Friday, falling to #10 North Dakota 7-3 in game one of a two game series.
UMD allowed at least two goals in each period, with three coming in the second period.
The three Bulldogs goals came in the third period, all thanks to Anthony Menghini’s first collegiate hat trick. No other Bulldogs scored however, despite their 35 shots on goal.
The silver lining was Will Francis’ return to collegiate hockey, after two separate battles with cancer, beating both of them.
The Fighting Hawks and Bulldogs are back at it on Saturday, with the game at 6:07 p.m.
