UMD men’s hockey falls just short of #19 St. Cloud State in high scoring affair
An all out brawl at the end of the 2nd period set the tone for the rest of the game, but UMD couldn't hold on to win.
Three periods and 11 goals later, the UMD and #19 St. Cloud State men’s hockey game ended in a 6-5 win for the Huskies.
For the Bulldogs, Owen Gallatin made a massive impact, scoring twice and assisting on the first UMD goal of the game from Blake Biondi.
The Bulldogs seemingly were playing catch up all night, as they never held the lead but were tied multiple times.
The Bulldogs scored in the last two minutes of each period, giving them momentum into the next each time.
Their winless streak extends even longer now, as their last win was October 21st. The Bulldogs will try to change that on December 1st against Omaha.
