UMD men’s hockey falls in overtime, swept against #19 Arizona State
A trip to Tempe, Arizona turned out to not be as relaxing as UMD men’s hockey once thought, as the Bulldogs fell to Arizona State 3-2 in overtime.
After falling behind 1-0, Max Plante net the equalizer in the third period to continue his great play over the weekend. UMD fell behind yet again, but for the second time, mounted a comeback, this time with Zam Plante scoring the goal.
Pushing the game to overtime, the Bulldogs allowed a goal just over four minutes into the overtime period.
UMD is back in action on December 31st against Bemidji State, with a 7:07 p.m. puck drop.
